Together for Peace
We all want peace, but what does that mean? Security for me and mine? An absence of conflict? Or something more positive... a shared future we create together through respect, justice and reconciliation?
T4P is a small charity with a big network. We work with people from all walks of life, from grassroots to government. We support them to connect with others, discover shared values, and develop ideas into positive action.
Change starts locally, so we're firmly rooted in Leeds - but with increasing regional, national and international connections.
Current work includes: the 'In One City' inter-community film project; the 'Planet Leeds' street festival; this autumn's 'Leeds Social Festival'; the international 'Peace Jam' youth initiative; schools programmes; the annual Leeds Peace Poetry competition; and multiple inter-communal and interfaith initiatives.
