Offering a home with 3 acres of land for Orphan Children, eliminating the feeling of loneliness and desertion, providing these children with a safe and secure family environment.
Education – All children above the age of 5 are registered into a local government school which is 1 km walk from Joy Home. The children syllabus includes Mathematics, Science and Telegu (the native language of Andhra Pradesh). English is also taught once the children are 8 years of age. Joy Home provides the children with stationery and school uniform as well as funding their school fees.
Food and Health Care – The children are provided with a well balanced and nutritious diet which is prepared by our full time nanny.
Training and Developing Skills – The children are trained in many different fields to ensure that they are able to become independent in the future.
Medical Centre – An area of land has been set aside for the construction and establishment of a Health Clinic /Health Training Centre for the children as well as the local villagers.
Accommodation – We have plans to construct permanent accommodation for up to 100 children.
Play Ground – The construction of a play ground and field for sporting activities'.
Rehabilitation Centre for Children with HIV & Aids – An area of the grounds have been set aside for future construction and implementation of a HIV & Aids Centre. In India, the National AIDS Control Organisation (2007) estimates there are 70,000 children under the age of 15 living with HIV/AIDS and a rapidly increasing number of children are orphaned or affected by AIDS.
