All the children at St Paul’s Steiner School, ages 3 to 14, together with their parents, baby siblings and their teachers, are taking part in this all-school challenge to raise much-needed funds for the school. The early years group (ages 3 to 6) are walking from St Paul’s Steiner School to the Angel in fancy dress (2 miles). Classes 1 to 8 are walking from the school along the Regent’s Canal to Victoria Park (4 miles). Classes 6 to 8 will continue along the Hertford Union Canal to the Olympic site in Stratford and down the Lee River and Limehouse Cut to Limehouse Basin, and then back up the Regent’s Canal to Victoria Park (a total of 10 miles).
Please sponsor us to complete this epic walk and help us to raise money for the St Paul’s Steiner School, which provides services to over 200 families through inclusive kindergarten and toddler playgroup schemes accommodating children up to the age of 14. The school is part of the St Paul’s Steiner Project, a community project that is a centre for local activities and community groups with an arts and performance focus, based in a beautiful but once derelict church in inner city London that the school community has brought back to life.
