CPA Zone Two Fund South Africa
Imagine waking up evey day feeling cold and hungry,no heating or lighting, poor sanitation facilities, walking 5 miles in one direction for fresh water and having a sick child to care for. It's a tough place to be but together we can bring hope,love,comfort and a little happiness to those in desperate need in the Zone Two area! Zone Two is a camp in north east South Africa for around 8000 refugees (mainly women and children) from Mozambique and Zimbabwe. CPA South Africa are working with the local church community to provide a soup kitchen and other basic facilities.
The CPA are also working to assist the nearby Mavhuza community to initiate and develop sustainable and transformational change for themselves in partnership with the Pointman Leadership Institute (www.pliglobal.com) which aims to identify young future leaders from the local community and to train them in ethical leadership and life mentoring skills in order for them to cascade these skills to others within their community.

The CPA "Helping others to help themselves " CPA Uk is running a short appeal and funds raised will be forwarded securely to our friends in CPA South Africa who will then undertake to ensure that the donations are used appropriately. 06/01 Update from SA CPA there is a desperate need for a metal shipping type/container to store kitchen equiptment and items securely. Currently one of the villagers keeps these items in their house and then wheelbarrows them to the camp over a long distance. So any funding will go towards a container and also to providing fresh water facilities.
