| Charity Description | Lucy Faithfull Foundation is a charity working exclusively with child sexual abuse countrywide, responding to it and preventing it. We have extensive experience in providing services and training within the child protection and criminal justice systems and the wider community. We work with adult male and female abusers, young people who cause sexual harm and families where abuse has taken place. We run educational programmes for internet offenders and their families. We manage Stop it Now! UK & Ireland - the sexual abuse prevention campaign which increases awareness and empowers people to take appropriate action to protect children. Using a public education approach, we communicate our messages via media, literature, a National Helpline and regional projects. Our National Freephone Helpline and email service - 0808 1000 900, help@stopitnow.org.uk - offers confidential information, advice and support to adults concerned about the risk of child sexual abuse because of their own thoughts or behaviour or that of someone they know. It is also for professionals seeking advice about cases. |
