Our multi-disciplinary research programmes are aimed at promoting sustainable use of tropical marine and coastal resources, encompassing ecological, socioeconomic and fisheries monitoring. Our research teams in the UK and Madagascar combine knowledge of coastal management with grassroots, community-centred conservation. Working in award-winning partnerships, we identify environmental issues critical to local communities, and work to develop strategies to address them. |
