CHAT raises funds to provide extra equipment, books, assessment tools and therapy services for children, in Aylesbury Vale, who have individual and special health needs, and who attend the Sue Nicholls Centre (NHS Children and Family Therapy Services). CHAT also supports The Wing Unit, a residential respite care unit for children with complex and severe disabilities. Regular respite care allows parents and carers to devote special time to the rest of the family without the 24-hour care for their disabled child. CHAT supports a team of heathcare professionals within the Sue Nicholls Centre and has provided equipment, assessment tools and books for every department which benefit all the children who are referred there by their G.P.
