Farfield is a converted woollen mill which houses 15 open artists studios, a floor devoted to hand weaving and traditional textile craft, a heritage floor which shows the story of the mill and local textiles, craftdisplays showing regional craft work for sale and two temporary exhibition galleries which exhibit high profile contemporary visual arts, focusing on textile art specifically.
