| Charity Description | Making it better - the Daniel Courtney Trust was set up in June 2005 in memory of Daniel, who suffered from Microvillous Atrophy - an extremely rare genetic disorder of the bowel. Microvillous Atrophy is a devastating condition which is little known and little understood. As a Charity, we are raising money to fund research into the condition, to isolate the gene responsible. We also aim to increase awareness of the importance of organ donation and encourage people to sign up to the Organ Donor Register. |
