Chipwa and Miyamba villages are located on the south eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika. Due to the great rift valley these villages have no road access. The nearest town is a 4 hour paddle across the lake. Bemba Villages has been set up to raise funds for the provision of education and health facilities and has the backing of the Zambian Government.
