Dance Ihayami is a Scottish-based Indian dance company with its aesthetic roots in south Indian dance, in its classical and modern forms. Our aim is to enrich and deepen the Scottish national repertoire of dance, generate new platforms for regular presentation of exciting and innovative works and create opportunities for artists from culturally diverse communities in Scotland. The company is dedicated to the art of Indian classical dance and its rich complexity of rhythm, posture, gesture and expression.

Our activities currently include:
Providing high quality instruction and performances for people of all ages
Developing cross-platform and cross-cultural work and partnerships
Delivering an outreach programme in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee
