 Carmarthen Breakthro
Who are we?

Carmarthen Breakthro’ is a small, independent charity that provides leisure activities for children, aged 4-19, with severe learning and physical difficulties as well as autism
who live in the Carmarthen area.

What do we offer?

We run a Saturday club throughout the year and various play schemes during the School holidays.

What do we do?

We endeavour to meet the individual needs of each of our children. Every child has their own likes, dislikes, needs strengths and weaknesses and it is our aim to assess
these needs and provide the suitable care.

Activities available

We are fortunate to have a soft play room, a sensory room, a touch-screen computer, a large outdoor play facility, musical instruments, art and craft activities as well as various books and videos.

What care do we offer?

Our coordinator and assistants are supported by a team of highly qualified staff and volunteers who have all undertaken the necessary training to provide 1:1 care
(2:1 if necessary), for our children. We ensure that the children are supervised and looked after at all times.

Do you and your child need us?

If your child has a learning difficulty or autism and you feel you could benefit from the service that we can provide then do not hesitate to contact your key worker at
the Carmarthen family support team for a referral. We always welcome newcomers with open arms.
