 Cylch Meithrin Pila pala
Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin is a voluntary organisation. It aims to give every young child in Wales the opportunity to benefit from early years services and experiences through the medium of Welsh.

Over the past year the school has been subject to vandlaism. We have requested help from the goverment but as it is not goverment owned and the property is rented they were not willing to help. All parents are getting together to help raise funds to help provide security for the school or get money to relocate the school to a more sutiable loctaion. This is a brilliant school for families who wish for their children to be bilinguail. If the vandalism does not stop or is not prevented then the children will suffer. See News clipping Below

Vandals destroy children’s garden – for the third time - Pre School destroyed
By Katie Bodinger, South Wales Echo
CHILDREN aged 2-4 at a city nursery have been left without a play area after heartless vandals broke in and trashed their garden.
Cylch Meithrin Pila Pala nursery based in Trowbridge Mawr Community Centre, Trowbridge, Cardiff, has been targeted three times in the past few months.
During the acts of destruction, the yobs have set fire to a new shed in the garden, smashed windows, stolen toys and pulled up plants.
The last attack happened over the weekend and nursery leader Sallyanne Stockwell said it was the worst yet. The group had spent £700 on a new shed and playhouse which the children could enjoy over the summer months but this week they have been forced to stay inside.
“They’ve pulled the doors off the hinges and written graffiti all over the sides,” she said.
“There is glass all over the place. The children are heartbroken. They keep asking why they can’t go out and play in the sun. It’s so upsetting for them. They know people have been coming in and destroying their stuff.
“We put a lot of hard work and fundraising into making the nursery a nice place for the children. We are all feeling awful.”
Back in April, the yobs set the shed on fire. Last week, on June 30, toys were broken and stolen and windows were smashed.
Sallyanne added: “It’s the fact that the children’s work has been damaged that makes it the worst. One of them was peeking through the window looking at the garden and asked me if the naughty people had come back and smashed our garden.
“They shouldn’t have to experience that. They are all feeling anxious about going out there now.”
All the children planted sunflowers and were monitoring how well they would grow, unfortunately when they returned to the pre school all the flowers had been ripped out from their roots, the children were devastated and crying.
The Nursery is a charity run pre school, to enable children aged 2- 4 to engage in bilingual speaking at a young age before starting school. As the school is charity run, all monies that come into the school is raised by parents, for this to happen it can cause parents to feel very uncomfortable about bringing their child to the school. The children deserve so much more than this.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police confirmed the incidents had taken place.
